GENERAL MANAGER – $80K+ SALARY + 10% ANNUAL PROFIT SHARE

Full-Time | Long-Term Leadership Opportunity
Nostos is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager who is looking for more than simply another restaurant management position.
We are looking for someone who wants to make Nostos their long-term professional home, become an integral part of our team, and participate financially in the ongoing growth and success of the restaurant.
COMPENSATION
Starting Salary: $80,000 per year
PLUS: 10% Annual Net Profit Share
The General Manager will have the opportunity to receive 10% of the restaurant's final annual net profits, in addition to salary.
The profit share will be based on the restaurant's actual net profit after all operating expenses and applicable business expenses, and will take into consideration the General Manager's performance and achievement of agreed operational improvements, including expense management and overall restaurant performance.
The exact calculation, eligible expenses, payment terms, performance requirements, and other conditions of the profit-sharing program will be specifically defined in the Employment Agreement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the successful day-to-day operation of Nostos, including:
- Managing and supervising front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing staff
- Maintaining exceptional standards of hospitality and guest service
- Controlling labor, food, beverage, and operating costs
- Monitoring purchasing, inventory, waste, and vendor relationships
- Improving restaurant systems, efficiency, and profitability
- Maintaining food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards
- Working closely with ownership on budgets, financial performance, and operational improvements
- Increasing sales through excellent service, repeat business, events, delivery, and local marketing
- Maintaining appropriate staffing levels while controlling payroll
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, labor, and restaurant regulations
- Developing a strong management team and positive workplace culture
- Taking personal ownership of the restaurant's performance and reputation
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking a proven restaurant professional with:
- Strong General Manager or senior restaurant management experience
- Excellent leadership and staff-management abilities
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials and cost controls
- Wine and beverage knowledge
- High standards for hospitality and customer service
- Ability to identify operational problems and implement improvements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Greek or Mediterranean restaurant experience is a plus
