Logistics Coordinator
Purchasing and logistics coordinator responsible for supplier communication, purchasing administration, freight coordination, and shipment tracking for equipment, fabrication, and construction projects.
US Citizenship / Permanent Residency required.
REQUIREMENTS
• US Citizenship / Permanent Residency required.
• 5+ years of logistics coordination experience in manufacturing .
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship skills
• Working knowledge of domestic and international logistics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong computer skills
• Analytical, organized, self-driven problem solver able to prioritize a high volume of work
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate purchasing and logistics activities with suppliers, freight forwarders, project teams, and job sites
• Prepare inquiries, obtain supplier quotes, compile bid tabs, and verify pricing, specifications, and completeness before negotiating orders
• Draft purchase orders and process invoices
• Maintain records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and procurement activities
• Resolve supplier issues involving specifications, timing, quality, quantity, and delivery
• Prepare shipping documentation and provide shipping instructions
• Track shipments and expedite supplier deliveries and overall performance
• Maintain procurement and logistics databases for purchased commodities and services
• Travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally
This is a full-time position in a project-oriented environment supporting equipment, fabrication, and construction contracts.
