Role, reporting, and support — The Operating Room Surgical Services Staff RN Nurse will report to a Perioperative Nurse Manager within Surgical Services and collaborate closely with a dedicated Charge RN and a supportive Director of Perioperative Services. The Operating Room Surgery Staff RN Nurse will be backed by experienced CNOR-prepared colleagues, board-certified anesthesiologists, collaborative surgeons, expert surgical technologists, and highly skilled sterile processing professionals. The Operating Room Surgery Staff RN Nurse will circulate and, as appropriate, scrub across a variety of specialties, champion AORN standards, drive safe time-outs and documentation, precept new team members, and hand off seamlessly to PACU, all within a friendly, diverse, and inclusive nursing team where every voice matters and every patient moment counts.
