TRADITIONAL LABOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

LABOR RELATIONS & EMPLOYMENT PRACTICE

Location: Denver, CO

Our client, an AmLaw 150international labor and employment law firm , is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Labor Relations & Employment Practice in Denver . This role offers the opportunity to advise and advocate for employers on a wide range of traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, contract administration, grievance arbitration, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Colorado , in good standing
• 7+ years of traditional labor law experience
  • Candidates with mixed employment litigation and some labor experience will also be considered
• Extensive experience in traditional labor matters , including collective bargaining and contract administration
• Grievance arbitration experience with the ability to handle matters independently
• Experience defending and prosecuting unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB strongly preferred
• Strong writing, analytical, and research skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
• Soft Skills: Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively; strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Represent employers in collective bargaining negotiations and contract administration
• Handle grievance arbitration proceedings and related labor disputes
• Defend and prosecute unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB
• Provide strategic counseling to clients on traditional labor matters and compliance issues
• Support litigation matters involving labor relations and employment disputes
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to deliver efficient and effective legal solutions

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary : Annual base salary expected to range from $240,000 – $265,000 , based on experience, qualifications, and market factors
• Eligibility for  bonuses and profit-sharing
