Laser/Punch Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $24.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 03:15pm to 01:45am )

• PUNCH and Laser Operation experience; Minimum of 2 years
• Maintain and Trouble Shoot (preferred: Amada) PUNCHES + Lasers for Precision Custom fabrication
• Automation experience preferred / but will train.
• Punch experience preferred / but will train.
• Familiarity with nesting desired.
• Knowledgeable/experience in changing lenses and conducting routine preventive laser maintenance.
• Programming / modifying downloaded programs.
• Proven ability to read and interpret prints/drawings to fabricate parts.
• Ability to identify metals such as cold rolled, galvaneel, stainless, aluminum, etc.

Laser/Punch Operator Qualifications:

• Physically able to manually offload materials; Pulling, pushing, grasping, metal products between 15-75 lbs. with regularly.
• High attention to detail and safety.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal Laser training preferred but not required / OTJ experience considered
• Familiarity with ISO procedures /quality standards is beneficial.
• Independence is necessary - as is the ability to work as a part of a team.
• Standing, Sitting, Reaching, Bending, Stretching, Lifting to 75 lbs.
• Pushing, Pulling, Fine tactical skills necessary.
